Rare 1958 Brussels World Expo souvenir. This palette shaped side table was created as a souvenir for the 1958 World Expo. Once bought in the souvenir shop, the palette was easy to carry around and showed you were the various expositions where held. If you wanted to take a break, sit down in the grass and nip on a glass of champagne, you removed the legs from under the palette , inserted them and the table was ready for use. A fantastic idea.
The table top Art work was designed by the Belgian Artist L. de Roeck and the table itself by Bois Manu.
The table is in great condition as can be seen in the images.
It will be shipped insured overseas in a custom made wooden crate. Cost of transport to the US is crate included.
