Sideboard by Jorge Zalszupin from his series of ‘Modular Pieces’ (Modulados Compiníveis) for L’Atelier. This sideboard in imbuia wood (walnut) is designed in Brazil around 1960. It has a finish in ‘blocks of wood’. As both the back and the front are worked with the wood veneer, this item can be placed in the middle of a space to also act as a room divider. This particular piece features 8 drawers and a door of which the shelves are missing (our restorer can add this in case wanted). It is in good, functional, condition and clearly marked underneath the sideboard. There have been some restorations done in the past that are visible (with one larger on the top) and it is lacking the two shelves behind the door. On request, these can be added by our professional restorer.
