Vintage Design
Large hanging lamp of transparent glass, made in the 1970s using the mouth-blown glass technique and handcrafted by master glassmakers in Venice, Italy.
The transparent body has a shape reminiscent of the naval lamps of the boats that ply the Mediterranean Sea, a sea that surrounds Venice.
The blown glass was made using the “bubble” technique: when the light is turned on, a thousand tiny bubbles create a unique pattern in the room.
The lower part is a white opalescent cap that creates a single body with the transparent one with which it was fused and mouth-blown.
The opalescence makes the light soft and soothing to the eyes.
Perfect in the center of a room or above a table. Perfect when round.
100% original and intact in every part, has been cleaned and updated electrical system. Ready to be installed!
