Vintage Design
The lamp is reminiscent of the shape of flowers – with long slender stems and tulip cups – resembling a stylized calla flower. Czech lamp (the area of today’s Czech Republic – then Czechoslovakia), from the late 1960s or early 1970s.
The lamp attracts attention with its expressive, original form. Long and slender milk glass lampshades are cut obliquely. The arms are not of equal length to emphasize the organic nature of the form, one of them protrudes a bit upwards. They have an elongated curved shape, mimicking a flower stalk. They are connected by an interesting central weave of wire, from which they diverge in two directions. The lamp rests on a round base painted in a pistachio-vanilla color.
