“Moveis Artesanal”: A Pioneer Company in uniting interior designs and furniture production in series, founded by Carlo Hauner, who soon joined with Martin Eisler and Ernesto Wolf. The company that formerly called Pau Brasil was owned by Lina Bo Bardi and her husband, Pietro Maria Bardi. After the acquisition by Hauner, Eisler and Wolf became part of the company, Sergio Rodrigues in the interior design department and Georgia Hauner as a set designer for the store and store windows, bringing innovations for the time.
The piece was the first presented in the exhibition “Carlo Hauner, Martin Eisler and the modernization of furniture in Brazil” in MuBa. São Paulo, Brazil.
