This piece has all the fun aspects of a true bold Mid-Century Modern piece — clean, angular swooping lines that give the piece an almost googie look that is unmistakably Mid-Century Modern.

When we acquired this Brazilian Modern beauty, it was all covered in stickers as shown in the images. After purchase, we reviewed the Oca’s original manufacture manual and vintage publications to understand the piece’s DNA. Just then, we started the restoration process, and the product is what you see in the pics. The piece is in excellent condition.

Rodrigues’s prolific ability to apply this type of tropical wood in different ways, always extremely original and creative made him one of the most important midcentury Brazilian designers.
