An antique Persian Hamadan Camel Hair oriental rug, in long runner size, with a repeat design in the central field. Circa 1900. Size 21’9 x 3’9. This antique hand-knotted wool runner features an allover lozenge design surrounded by repeating diamond motifs in the handsome primary field. The long central field is enclosed within multiple inner and outer borders of different colors and styles, including an outermost layer of pure brown camel hair. This charming piece is composed of 100% wool, with a fine weave and a supple handle.
