Manufactured by Móveis Cimo, Brazil in the late 1950s.
The chairs feature an organic shaped seat and backrest that seams to float over the wooden frame.
We reupholstered the chairs with a high quality wool, mohair and long-haired alpaca fabric from Maison Pierre Frey, Paris.
The frame is made of solid rosewood which has a warm dark reddish colour and beautiful grain. The brutalist brass screws are a striking detail.
These statement club chairs are rare and valuable icons of design a they are marked with a paper Cimo label. (See image)
