“Meet Acanthus (the name of the foliage motif that features in the lampshade)—he’s part of our new fresh blue and white series of one-of-a-kind table lamps. Flipping things on their head, we’ve paired vintage Delft White vases with custom made blue and white patterned lampshades from limited edition fabrics. Perfect on his own, he is also gorgeous together with other lamps in this series.
A one-of-a kind lamp, Acanthus is lovingly handcrafted from a vintage Velsen (another very well regarded Dutch pottery) Delft White (Delfts Wit) vase. The uniqueness lies in the shape of the vase and how it catches the light.

We’ve paired the base with a custom blue cord and lampshade made with fabric from Morris & Co. Originally designed by William Morris, one of the founders of the Arts & Crafts movement, it is a much-loved design from 1875 which marked the beginning of a period in which Morris created large-scale designs for wallpaper. Printed here on a cotton/linen blend, scrolling layers of acanthus foliage create a dramatic three-dimensional effect. Perfect for a fresh maximalist interior. Or a Hamptons beach house!”
