Wall lamp “Fiore” designed by Marta Laudani & Marco Romanelli in 2007. Wall and ceiling lamp in transparent blown glass giving direct and diffused light. Chromium-plated metal structure with 7 lights on a flower disposition. Manufactured by Oluce, Italy. In designing this family of lamps, Marta Laudani and Marco Romanelli recover natural elements and 1970-style recollections making them the focal point of the project: the lamp becomes the archetype of a flower, with a central core and radiating petals. The single element, a transparent blown glass cylinder that contains the source of light, is joined to a metal body to form several combinations, creating, in fact, a stylised flower. In the wall/ceiling version, Fiore is available with 7 luminaires, 3 luminaires – in the linear and triangular variations – and with only one luminaire, creating geometric or decorative motifs on the domestic surfaces. Materials and color: Transparent blown glass Chromium-plated metal Dimensions: D 13 cm x W 30 cm x H 30 cm Technical information: 3 x max 40 W (E14) Founded in 1945, Oluce is the oldest Italian design company in the lighting sector still in operation today. Oluce lighting design aesthetic is crisp, linear, and decorative. A subtle, intellectual beauty that over the years has led the company to produce some of the more recognizable and admired iconic lighting in the world. Oluce, already participating at the 9th Triennale in Milan, throughout its long history, has received numerous acknowledgements including two Golden Compass awards, two Design Awards and the Gold Medal at the 13th Triennale in Milan. Its lamps appear in the most important permanent design collections worldwide. Oluce’s expertise reveals its unparalleled manufacturing excellence which transforms into objects an untiring technological research into the potential of light. Each lamp is a milestone along this journey. Over time, from unusual materials, original designs and new lighting sources ensued revolutionary iconic designs by Tito Agnoli, Joe Colombo, Marco Zanuso, Ostuni e Forti, and Vico Magistretti, who since the 50s, have been rewriting the history of lighting. Recent collections reaffirm Oluce design and decorative approach, expressed through the signs by Italian and international designers such as Angeletti & Ruzza, Francesco Rota, Nendo, Victor Vasilev, Nicola Gallizia, Christophe Pillet, Mist-o and David Lopez Quincoces. Available different versions: With 7 luminaires. With 3 luminaires in a line variation. With only one luminaire.
