Henry Gasser was the original artist for such a striking and memorable piece of the Venice canals in the early to mid 1900s. Many renderings were made, copies if you will and this is a great example. The signature is not legible but the painting itself is finely framed, matted and well composiitoned to reflect the depth of skill required for such a charming picture. Is in good condition, minor wear from usage + age.
