Void candelabra – 5 candles (wood and brass candelabra)

Despite being material, the collection name contains the immateriality that defines it – vøid.
The concept is to represent the empty space that is within the limits established by materiality, as the wooden parts surrounds and encloses within itself an empty space, like a cage imprisons a space within itself. It also dialogues with the architectural paradox, where spaces are not created, they have always existed, what is done is to surround and assign a use to it, establishing the relationship between the inside and the outside. That way, the final form is mostly composed by the void, which makes it appear extremely light.
As so, the vøid collection is constituted by both being and non-being: it is the being that makes it useful, however, it is non-being that gives it form.
